Obituary of Faye Collette Brown

Faye Collette Brown – Fowler was sent from heaven to bless the lives of her parents Virginia and Wayne Brown on February 16th 1969, and laid into eternal rest on October 27th, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. Faye had always expressed a strong love for fashion. She enjoyed looking fabulous from her stylish hair and nails to her clothes, jewelry and shoes. Faye was also a very family oriented person; she never hesitated to take on the caregiver role for her nieces, nephews and friends. She was known to many as “Aunt Faye” whether blood relation or not. Faye was the type of person to give the shirt off her back or open her home to anyone when needed. Faye attended Fallsburg Central High and Middletown Beauty School. During her later years in life she had a goal to reach others in her community through her testimony. Faye became an inspiration to others through her motivational speaking sessions at the Monticello Recovery Center. For leisure, Faye had begun to travel to visit her loved ones. She often spent plenty of time with her grandchildren in New Jersey. There will be a viewing on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 11am followed by the Home Going service at 1pm at the Kings Chapel Mission Church, 15 Spring Street in Monticello. Burial will follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello. Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello.
