Obituary of Charles Q. Bickham

Charles Quinn Bickham was born on August 13th, 1957 to Ruth Walker Bickham and the late Clifford Bickham, Sr. He slipped away peacefully on Thursday, June 13th, 2019 at home with his loving family by his side.

Charles, lovingly known as "Charlie" grew up in Monticello with his 11 siblings and his many cousins. He was educated in the Monticello Central School District.  Charlie was an avid Fisherman, hunter and skier.

Charlie was very fashionable.  He loved fine clothes with matching shoes and accessories.  He knew he was "the man". Charlie was a charmer, who was loved by his family and friends. He loved barbequing and  spending time with them.

Charlie loved various crafts and became involved in making ceramic molds of animals and painting them so beautifully, like his Dad. Charlie was employed by Holiday Mountain Ski Lodge for many years. He also worked as a painter for various companies in the area.

Charlie leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Ruth, at home; nine brothers-Clifford Bickham Jr., John and Dennis, of Monticello, NY; Willis (Yvette) and Irwin of Rochester, NY; Glen (Rose), Ralph, and Aaron of Maryland, and Chris Bickham of Loch Sheldrake, NY; two sisters-Angenette and Vera Bickham of Monticello, NY; two daughters Nicole Bickham of Long Island, NY and Paula Bickham of Syracuse, NY; a special friend, Angie Santos; uncles, aunts,nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 11am at the Bethlehem Temple Church, 93 Fairground Road in Monticello with Pastor Ryan L. Tinsley officiating.  Viewing is from 10-11am at the church.
