Terry Duane Heaster “Bud”, of Bloomingburg, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 77. The son of the late John William Heaster and Dorothy Brandt Heaster, he was born August 3, 1936 in Huntington, PA. He was the widower of Harriet Heaster who predeceased him in December, 2007. Bud was a head adjuster for Federal Paper Board in Piermont, NY, and was a 50-year lifelong member of the Piermont Fire Department. He is survived by two sons: Duane Terry “Buddy” Heaster and John William Heaster, both of Bloomingburg; a daughter: Veronica “Vicky” Peressini & her husband Wayne of Bloomingburg; four grandchildren: Nicole (Steve) Arellano, and Jessica, Matthew & Cassidy Peressini; three great grandchildren: Lorenzo, Nicholas and Alexander; a brother: Jerry Heaster & his wife Arlene of Carlisle, PA. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, September 13 from 10:00am until 12:00 noon at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Burial will follow at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the family would be appreciated.
