Carol was a good friend going back to college where we lived together. While I had not visited for a long time, since she lived in Durham, we would often talk on the phone. She had a difficult time once Steve passed, and missed him greatly. She was always glad to hear from me and we would have long chats.
I became concerned when I left a number of unanswered messages and she did not call back.
I only hope she passed without pain.

Carol was a beautiful soul, who offered unconditional love to my brother. Their lives were intertwined into a beautiful life together. Carol was a kind, loving sister-in-law to me and my husband and a loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews. We know she will rest in peace and be back at the side with her beloved husband.
