Pauline Martorana DiGennaro, longtime resident of Wurtsboro, NY died on Sunday, September 8th, 2013 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY. She was 90 years old.
The daughter of the late Antonino and Rosaria (Amato) Martorana, Pauline was born on November 7, 1922 in Dobbs Ferry, NY and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
Pauline was predeceased by her loving husband Mario of 67 years. She is survived by her twin sister, Frances Muraca of Middletown, CT, three sons, Mario and his wife Margitta of the Florida Keys, Paul of Wurtsboro, and Anthony and his wife Maria of Middletown, NY; one daughter Rose Ann Azerier and her husband Gary of NY, NY; four grandchildren: Bianca, Vanessa, Janine (Renso) and Michael; four great grandchildren Jayla, Herschell-Mario, Jakob and Nialani.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro, New York. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 12 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, High Street in Bloomingburg, NY. Burial will follow at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery in Bloomingburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, 1 Sunrise Lane, Newburgh, NY 12550.
