Obituary of Chauncey M. Jones
Chauncey M. Jones, a retired truck driver, died Sunday, March 17, 2019 at his home in Monticello. He was 63.
The son of Amy Brown Jones and the late Charles E. Jones Sr., he was born July 4, 1955 in Goshen.
He is survived by a daughter: Shannon Harrell & her husband Phil of Inwood, WV; two grandchildren: Hannah and Patrick; his mother: Amy of Monticello; a brother Charles Jones Jr. & his wife Glenda of Monticello; three sisters: Marie Newkirk & her husband Clinton of Glen Spey, Edna Turner of North Carolina, and Ellen Bedard & her husband Ron of Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his wife Karen in 2001.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, March 20 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 21 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
