During this time of grief keep in mind a loving provision that is promised by Jehovah God at Revelation 21:4 “ And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” There will be a time in the near future where we will no longer have to deal with such loss.

Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. My heart is full of sorrow at Bishop Armstead’s passing. But my memories are full of joy. It is because of his teachings, his patience, and his example of love for his fellow brethren that he will never be forgotten. It is because of his understanding of “CRAZY FAITH” and the willingness to preach it, I am a believer...and “I can do all things...” May God continue to bless you, give you strength and carry you through this trying time. You are loved.
Sincerely,
Sean, April Finn and Family

To First Lady Lillian Armstead and the entire Armstead Family, as Chairman of the PCAF Board of Suffragan Bishops, I wish to convey our sincere sorrow and prayers as you mourn the home going of a great man/leader. May the love and peace of God be with you as you carry on in the manner that Bishop Armstead would want you to do.
I had the privilege to know this great man of God for several years as we would meet during our PCAF Mid Winter Bishop Board Conferences and National Conventions. I found him to be a quiet spirited man who demonstrated the love and compassion that all great pastors possess.
Be assured that we will always love you and keep you in our prayers.
Blessings,
Suffragan Bishop Verdell Jones, Sr . Louisville, Ky

To Bishop Armstead's family and many friends I wish sincere condolences on the passing of a great and faithful man. I knew Bishop Armstead for many years but grew especially close during my years as Mayor of Monticello. We would visit people in hospitals and at many community activities. Bishop Armstead was a faithful man who was an example of a community leader. God broke the mold when he created Bishop Armstead. His passing is a great loss to his church and the Monticello community.

Lady Lillian Almstead please know that you have our deepest and heartfelt condolences upon the loss of your husband and our dear Bishop Almstead. Our prayers are for you that God will give you continued grace and supernatural strength as you go through this very difficult time. May you find comfort in knowing that Bishop had fought a good fight and had finished his course, and he had a great woman as yourself by his side to help him finish his earthly assignment. Take courage my dear sister: Job well done!
I’m here for you if nothing more than a listening ear or a whispering prayer.
Love to you,
Lady Antoinette Singleton
