Rita Leslie Cossolini, a former bartender and waitress in the area, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at her home in Harris. She was 78.
The daughter of the late Maurice Lawton and Edna Zwanzig Lawton, she was born June 25, 1935 in Monticello. She was the widow of John B. "Jack" Cossolini who predeceased her on March 24, 1999.
She is survived by her cousins: Jean (Laurence) Winum of Walden, John L. Roman (Elizabeth) of Henrietta, Gary Roman of Fallsburg, Virginia (Merv) Holzapfel of Syosset, Patricia (Mickey) McQuilton of Monticello and Lawrence A. Roman Jr. of Queens. In addition to her husband Jack, she was predeceased by a brother Maurice Lawton.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
