Lorraine Virginia Sloan, a bookkeeper at Home Depot in Middletown, died Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 56. The daughter of Richard D. Foster and Carole Schwenz Foster, she was born March 1, 1962 in Monticello. She is survived by her loving husband: Kevin H. Sloan and her three fur babies Mazie, Smokey and Sunni at home; a daughter: Christina Jackson & her husband Joseph of Richmond, VA; a granddaughter: Ariona; her parents: Richard and Carole Foster of Mongaup Valley; a sister: Deborah Foster of Monticello; special family members Aunt Linda Reeves; cousins Dina and Danny Sturm (Samantha and Kelly), John Reeves (Megan); niece Danielle (Angelo, Emilee, Leana); nephews Scott (Lukas) and Brandon; plus her bonus daughter Jessica. Family & friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, November 28 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello with a prayer service starting at 5:30. The family would like to give a special thank you to Home Depot for all of your support and help at this time.
