Obituary of Patricia Ann DiGirolamo

Patricia Ann DiGirolamo formerly of Greenwich, Connecticut passed away October 28, 2018 in her home that she lived with her loved ones in Stamford, Connecticut. She was 81 years old. Patricia was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Eva Bartlack on January 13,1937. Patricia was the devoted wife of Angelo Joseph DiGirolamo, who predeceased her November, 1994. She is survived by her four children Maryann Ciarelli and her husband Lawrence of Lords Valley, PA, Angelo DiGirolamo Jr. of Bullville, NY, Dawn Johnson and her late husband Herbert formerly of Greenwich, CT, Tracy Licht and her husband Mathew of Delray Beach, FL, and her youngest son Anthony R. DiGirolamo who predeceased us 2003. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, Joseph, Nicola, Lawrence, Tony, Patricia Ciarelli, Anthony DiGirolamo, Stephanie Conetta, Alexis Popp, Jillian, Dennis Kraemer, Alise, Angelo DiGirolamo, Emily, Bryce Blumenthal. In addition to her parents and spouse, she was predeceased by her two younger sibling twin sisters, Joan Cianflone of Middlesex, NJ, and Jacqueline Cimino of Ortley Beach, NJ. As a Mom, she had taught us all the importance of family, and gatherings from her well known Sunday dinners where there was always room for everyone at the table. She loved a great gathering, and she hosted many where there was plenty of food, love and laughter. Patsy, Mom, Gram, and Mrs. D as she was lovingly called by so many had a grace of elegance, and love of life. She taught tolerance and compassion, and she would never judge. She will be missed, as there will be a brighter star in the sky... A Celebration Service of a Beautiful Life will be held on Sunday, November 11th at One o'clock to Three o'clock at VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro NY.
