Marion Louise Mapes passed away on October 5, 2018 at Achieve Nursing Home in Liberty. She was 90 years old. She retired from Pacific Northwest Bell in Seattle, WA on July 29, 1984 after 29 years and 6 months of service.
She was predeceased by her husband Clifton D. Mapes on November 10, 1991. She was also predeceased by four daughters: Louise Gale on February 13, 2006; Ellen Price on May 1, 2006; Patricia Bernhardt on December 7, 2006; and Susan Jahn on August 15, 2018. She was also predeceased by her sons-in-law Wayne Bernhardt on March 6, 2006 and Robert Jahn on August 15, 2015; and her companion Robert Patterson on August 27, 2017.
She is survived by two sons: Robert Haas Mapes and Daniel Mapes of Monticello; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a devoted son-in-law Richard H. Price Sr.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
