She is survived by her son Gregory Rausch and his wife Linda and their six children; her son Norbert Rausch and his wife Susanne and their two children; her son Joseph Rausch and his wife Nora and their five children; her son Thomas Rausch and his wife Georgia and their four children; her daughter Monica McGill and her husband Joe and their three children; her son Edward Rausch and his wife Karen and their four children; her daughter Angela Ruggeri and her husband Joseph and their five children; her daughter Corina Rausch; her son Frederick Rausch and his wife Shabnum and their nine children; all told, thirty-eight grandchildren, and sixty-three great-grandchildren; a sister: Madeline Vogel of Moon Township, PA; a brother-in-law: Francis Rausch of McKeesport, PA; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by four sisters: Elia, Emily, Dora and Matilda.

Many of her accomplishments included being a founding member of the Forestburgh Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary; a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America, German-American Club in Middletown and a former Cub Scout Leader.

Mom was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was always there and present in our lives. She was the nurturing pillar and glue for our family. Sunday breakfasts, her wonderful sense of humor and the Italian outbursts that came out when her family really tested her patience. Mom was truly a saint. She was a woman who raised nine children and somehow managed to keep the house clean and in order. She was completely selfless, kind and giving. There wouldn’t be a time when she wouldn’t welcome someone into the house even when they just stopped by to say hello. She would throw on her apron and start cooking. She was extremely loved by her entire family. The true love and devotion that she had for our father and that they had for each other, we would have never been where we are today. We learned the lesson of love for God and family through her unwavering love. We learned the strong message of love and compassion and to always have faith no matter how hard things were. The foundation of her example has been a powerful part of our lives. The sweet soul she had will truly be missed. Her legacy will continue for generations to come.
