Audrey M. Cherry passed away on September 18, 2018 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 80 years old. Audrey was born on October 16, 1937 in Forestburgh, New York to parents Arthur and Nellie Kinne Ehrets.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles M. Cherry (her soulmate and best friend), her in-laws Philip and Frances Vandervoort, (whom she loved dearly), brothers Arthur and Raymond, and sisters Florence and Mary.
She is survived by her sons Charles Cherry (daughter-in-law Stacey) of Deltona, Fl; Phillip Cherry of Queen Creek, AZ; William Cherry of Monticello, N.Y; and Christopher Cherry (daughter-in-law Isabel) of Clermont Fl; grandchildren Christina Barnes and Jennifer Cherry of Deltona, Fl; Christopher and Daniel Cherry of Clermont Fl; brother George (sister-in-law Alice) of Forestburgh, N.Y; sister-in-law Ginger Prokosch of Monticello, N.Y; and several nieces and nephews.
Audrey was a devoted mother and foster parent to countless boys and girls for 25 years. She will be deeply missed.
Services will be private at the request of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
