Jamie Sean Price of Monticello, a corrections officer at Woodbourne and Sullivan Correctional Facilities, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Monticello. He was 42. The son of Donald S. Price and Love Conrad Price, he was born May 6, 1976 in Monticello. Known for his great sense of humor and outgoing nature, Jamie was a member of the Rock Hill Church of the Nazarene and Bear Paw Hunting Camp. He is survived by his wife: Paula Peterson Price, at home; his father Donald; his mother: Love; two stepdaughters: Tammy and Jennifer; his cousin and "like a sister": Marilee Calhoun; two godsons: Landon and Jordan; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, May 21 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 11am at the Rock Hill Church of the Nazarene, 210 Katrina Falls Road in Rock Hill with Rev. Roy Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow at Messenger Cemetery, Southwoods Drive in Monticello.
