I had the joy of working for Bucky and Ellen during our time in Hammondsport. I felt very blessed to know them and enjoyed my job at Amity Rose and Blusing Rose.

I was so sorry to hear of Bucky's passing. He and Ellen were good neighbors when we were growing up in White Lake, and good friends as well. They were always ready to help out, and very valued neighbors. We called on Bucky for help with everything from "I' don't know how to shut off this flood and Mom and Dad aren't home," to "Grandma has fallen and I can't lift her alone." His kindness and good humor endeared him to all of us.
My condolences to all the family.

We had the privilege of knowing Bucky and Ellen during the years they lived in Hammondsport. Wonderful friends and just great people. They will both be remembered by the people they knew over the years. Our condolences to the family.

Our deep condolences to Shawn and all members of the Laufersweiler family. May "Bucky" rest in eternal peace with his beloved wife Ellen. The hospitality they showed during our stays at the Blushing Rose in Hammondsport, N.Y. made us feel special and we were treated like family. Bucky was a great man and his wife Ellen was a very special person. Please except our deepest sympathy.
