Delbert E. Fisher of West Haverstraw, a retired welder for Times Square Stage Lighting in Stony Point, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 77. The son of the late Howard R. Fisher Sr. and Gertrude Jessmer Fisher of Brasher Falls, he was born March 22, 1940 in Massena, NY. He is survived by his brothers: Howard (Caroline) of Wurtsboro, Floyd (Rose) of West Haverstraw, Frank (Jane) of Brasher Falls, Norman (Agnes) of the state of Florida, Ed of Wisconsin, and Riley (Rae) of Fort Montgomery; his grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Helen; two children: Sherry and Ricky; brothers: Robert, Gene and Herbie; and a sister: Tilly. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, February 10 from 3-5pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro.
