Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
William Anthony Fenner, Sr, 84, a long time Bloomingburg NY resident passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27th. Known as Bill to most and Bubby to the family, he was a kind and thoughtful man, who was loved by all who have had the pleasure to know him. Bill always had a fondness for the animals, always making sure they were all taken care of. William was a United States Marine, who proudly served during the Korean War. After retiring after 35 years, from the New York State Thruway Highway Department as a Supervisor, Bill remained very active in the American Legion. He felt it was an honor to command the color guard and remember those who have gone before us. Cherished husband for over 60 years to Joan (Toth) the love of his life. Loving father of Carolyn and her husband Rodney and William, Jr and his wife Lori. Beloved grandfather to Elizabeth, Phillip "Henry", Michael and Katherine. Treasured brother of Robert, Gerald and Fredrick, as well as, their wives and many extended family members. William is predeceased by his older brother, John Fenner. Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service and burial of ashes with Military Honors on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 am at The Liberty Veterans Cemetery in Liberty, NY.
