William James O'Rourke, an IT Director for Sullivan ARC and lifelong resident of the area, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at home in Forestburgh. He was 53.
The son of Marian Wilson O'Rourke and James O'Rourke, he was born August 11, 1964 in Monticello.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Horton O'Rourke, at home; their children: Kathleen O'Rourke of Monticello, Deanna O'Rourke of Forestburgh and Sean O'Rourke of Forestburgh; his mother: Marian O'Rourke of Forestburgh; his father: James O'Rourke of Bethel; two sisters: Sharon Gonzalez of Smallwood and Elizabeth Klein of Forestburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Thursday, August 31 from 4-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. A funeral service will take place at 6:30pm at the funeral home.
