Pauline Platt of Cornwall, formerly of Bloomingburg, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 85.
The daughter of the late Abraham Sarine and Flora Green Sarine, she was born September 19, 1931 in Wurtsboro. She was the widow of Edward Platt Sr. who predeceased her on September 27, 1999.
Survivors include her two daughters: Laura Morelli & her husband Joe of Montgomery, and Joyce Della Ve Dova & her husband Stephen of Cornwall-on-Hudson; her twin sister: Arlene Platt of Wurtsboro; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son: Edward Platt Jr.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, August 15 from 9-11am at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with a funeral service beginning at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Sylvan Cemetery in Wurtsboro.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
