Dylan Jerry Messenger of Monticello, a lifelong resident of the area, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Albany. He was 31.
The son of Claude M. Messenger Jr. and Virginia E. Cohen, he was born April 26, 1986 in Middletown.
He is survived by his mother: Virginia E. Cohen of Monticello; his father: Claude M. "Ne" Messenger Jr. & his wife Janet of Monticello; his brothers: Brian (Flo) Messenger, Neil (Shannon) Messenger and John (Veronica) Messenger; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Claude & Mary Messenger; maternal grandparents: Virginia & Kenneth; stepdad: Rob Cohen; and aunt: JoAnn Miller.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
