Paula R. Kennett of Rock Hill died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Westchester Medical Center. She was 73. Paula was born on March 5, 1944 and was a longtime member of the Rock Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps. She was the widow of James E. Kennett Sr. She will always be remembered as Nan, a loving and caring woman who would do anything for anyone. She is survived by a daughter: Suzanne Kennett of Rock Hill; two grandchildren: Joseph Hand Jr. and Michael Hand and his wife, Rose; two great grandchildren: Michael James Hand and Isabella Hand; two sisters: Bonnie Fraser and her husband, Bob of Yonkers, and Diane Wood of Yonkers; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 23 at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. A prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m., Friday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Rock Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps., P.O. Box 1, Rock Hill, NY 12775.
