Pamela Petty passed away peacefully, in her home, on Saturday May 20, 2017 with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren by her side. A longtime resident of Orange and Rockland Counties, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Merle Wilson. Pamela was born Jan 27th, 1944. Pamela, better known as "Ma" to all, was a fiercely proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ma was predeceased by her husband Elwood D. Petty; her son Robin Darren McCarthy; her sisters Jane Giraudin and Nancy and a brother Jeffrey Wilson. She is survived by her children: Daniel McCarthy of Wurtsboro, Patrick McCarthy of Salisbury Mills, Sean McCarthy of Cornwall, Stephen Wendell of Circleville, Stacy-Lynn Estes of Virginia and Shawna Clutter of California; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and her eldest brother Richard Wilson II. There is a private service for family and friends at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road in Goshen NY on Saturday June 3rd. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc. 800 Stoney Brook Ln.
