Jacqueline Mabel Bernhardt, a retired teacher from Hallandale Beach, FL, died Saturday, March 18, 2017 at her home in Bloomingburg. She was 92.
The daughter of the late John Mazak Jr. and Lillian Anderson Mazak, she was born August 30, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA.
Jacqueline was an accomplished pianist, and had attended Juilliard. She was very active in her church, the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Davie, Florida.
Survivors include her three grandchildren: Susan, Mike and Tom; two great grandchildren: Anna & Oliver; her sister: Jeanette Stewart & her husband Robert; a daughter-in-law: Arlene McLoughlin; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband: Val Bernhardt; a son: Terrence McLoughlin; and a sister: Joanne Fish.
Interment of her ashes will be held at the convenience of the family at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
