Please share a memory of Michelle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Michelle "Shelly" L. Riley (Regan) of Monticello, a local hotel manager, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017. She was 53 years old. Shelly was born December 10, 1963 in Camden, NJ to Patricia Riley. After Patricia's passing, Shelly moved to Monticello, NY. She had a fond love for family, music, nature, snowfalls, concerts and the scents that reminded her of Christmas (Pine, Cedar and Balsam). She had a love for life and a carpe diem attitude that should teach all to live life to the fullest and as if today is your last. She is survived by her son Randy J. Regan (Talya Shlang) of White Lake; two sisters: Lynn Coppage & her husband Darin of Saugerties, and Gi Cox & her husband Larry of Runnemede, NJ; a brother: George Riley & his wife Kim of Egg Harbor Twp, NJ; nieces and nephews: Jen, Trisha, Terri, Jess, Stace, Alex "Snook", Jayson "Boobala", Josh, Kevin, Kaiti "Sweetness" and Grandpuppy Baila. She was predeceased by her daughter: Alyson Michelle Regan in 1997. Family & friends are invited to gather on Sunday, February 26 from 2-5pm at the VanInwegen Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello with a remembrance service starting at approx. 4:15pm. The family asks that no flowers be sent (unless they are sunflowers of course). Memorial contributions can be made to MusiCares or Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello NY; for additional information or to send an online condolence, please visit www.kennyfuneralhome.com
