Vince you and Joy did a great job raising your family. They are all good citizens and people. Our daughter is married to Matt and we had many opportunities to meet with you and exchange thoughts and experiences on life. You lived a full life and we will miss our chats and visits with you. Love Imants and Veronica

Oh Mr. Rush, I've never forgotten you and have thought of you often.
Mr. Rush was a friend of my grandfather's. They served in the Knights of Columbus together and they both worked at Monticello Raceway. He came to my grandfather's funeral and was very comforting back in 1985. I graduated from High School in 1988 and was very fortunate to have taken his science class. It was easy to change the subject in his class, and he always joked about how his nose was so bug that he was the only person that could smoke a cigar in the shower. He was a wonderful human being, and I will continue to think fondly of him and often.

I cant count the hours Mr.Rush spent helping mentor me and others. He taught us about life, religion, fishing, politics. Baseball as well ! Ahhh those memories bring a smile to my face.
The stories he would tell while he served in the military, challenged our minds as childern to grow and expand.
I'm grateful to God that he placed Mr.Rush in my life, he was a positive influence upon me.

Vince treated me as an adult even though I was a teenager. He let me drive his car even though I didn't have a driver's license. Maybe it was because he was dating my sister. That was over fifty years ago. Good bye brother-in-law. R.I.P.
