Michael Anthony Kania of Wurtsboro died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 7, 2007 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was 51.
The son of Martha Rossano Kania & the late Michael John Kania, he was born April 17, 1956 in Manhattan.
Michael will be sadly missed by all of his many friends and family members.
He is survived by his mother: Martha Kania , at home; his wife: April Fahrenfeld; two sisters: Carolann Kania of Hawley, PA and Roseann Garcia of Monticello; four nieces: Celeste, Ellie, Carole & Roseanne; and two nephews: Clifford & Jimmy.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 10 and on Thursday, October 11 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 12 at 10:00am at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Fr. Peter Madori will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery in Bloomingburg.
